Motorcyclist Fatally Injured In Vegas Crash Near Red Rock Canyon

Several Injured in Las Vegas collision on N Pecos Rd.

Las Vegas, NV (August 27, 2024) A fatal collision occurred on State Route 159 in Las Vegas on Monday night, August 26th, 2024. Tragically, a motorcyclist was killed in a collision near Red Rock Canyon, right around 11:15 p.m., according to reports.

It was a late summer night in Vegas as a motorcyclist rode along State Route 159. For reasons that remain a mystery, the rider suddenly lost control of the motorcycle, not far from Red Rock Canyon. The rider rolled across the highway several times before coming to a stop, reports indicated. The busted and dented motorcycle laid several feet from its rider.

Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found the rider on the ground. They hurried to the motorcyclist’s side, ready to administer life-saving techniques. Sadly, they found the rider unresponsive and they were pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.

The motorcycle had to be hauled from the scene and officers gathered evidence in an attempt to decipher what actually happened on this late August night in Las Vegas.
