Initial reports indicated that a Ford was making a left turn from Roseville Road onto Tacomic Drive when it was hit by a motorcycle. The impact sent the 30-year-old rider flying several feet before landing on the ground. The Ford and the motorcycle both caught on fire following the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 60s, was able to get out of her vehicle before the flames spread.
