Jurupa Valley, CA (September 2, 2023) A motorcyclist was injured on Friday afternoon after he collided with a car on the Pomona 60 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. in Jurupa Valley.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident took place just west of Rubidoux Boulevard. The motorcyclist was speeding and splitting lanes on the Ponoma 60 Freeway when he collided with a Kia. The motorcyclist fell on the road and slid under a passing Jeep. The rider then rolled onto the freeway.
He was able to stand up and witnesses, being referred to as good Samaritans, got out of their vehicles and helped the motorcyclist to the right shoulder of the freeway. Riverside County Fire Department Paramedics arrived at the scene in minutes and took the motorcyclist to a Riverside hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
Those in the Jeep and Kia were uninjured and the motorcycle was moved to the shoulder of the freeway, keeping traffic flowing.
