Carson, CA (October 25, 2023) A motorcyclist, identified only as a male, was injured on Wednesday morning, October 25th, after colliding with another vehicle in Carson. The collision occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. It all happened just south of Main Street.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the call and arrived at the scene to find a white Honda Civic and a motorcycle that had just collided. The motorcyclist went down in the No. 1 lane of the freeway after the crash. The Honda was sitting in the HOV lane, waiting for police officers to arrive.

Fire fighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported that the motorcycle rider was awake and breathing when they arrived. It is unknown at this time if he was taken to a local hospital, but he is expected to make a full recovery.
The motorcycle and the Honda were both towed away from the crash site and officers investigated the scene as crews cleaned up debris from the accident. Authorities hope to learn who was at fault in this collision and what exactly caused it to happen.
