San Francisco, CA (August 26, 2024) A chaotic collision between a car and a motorcycle caused serious traffic issues on the Bay Bridge, just before Treasure Island, on Sunday afternoon, August 25th. The accident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. and left a motorcycle rider with serious injuries, reports indicated.
Witnesses on the Bay Bridge stated that the bridge looked like a parking lot, following a collision between a car and a motorcycle. Two people were riding on the motorcycle, when it collided with a car in the westbound lands of the Bay Bridge. At least one of the riders on the motorcycle was thrown, officers reported.
Police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene and found vehicles randomly stopped all over the lanes of the Bay Bridge. They found the wrecked car and the damaged motorcycle and began looking for anyone in need of medical assistance. One of the motorcycle riders had sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to reports.

Officers are working to determine what caused this injury accident on the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. They are also determined to figure out who was at fault.
