Officers arrived at the scene and found one of the vehicles down the embankment. The motorcyclist had been thrown from the motorcycle and laid on the ground motionless. Paramedics began performing life-saving techniques on the rider, but it was too late. The motorcyclist had been killed in the collision. With heavy hearts, they pronounced the rider dead at the scene and requested a coroner.
