Orinda, CA (August 13, 2024) A tragic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Saturday, August 10.
At about 12:05 a.m., officers responded to westbound state Highway 24 east of Saint Stephens Drive. The circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear, but a BMW SUV and a motorcycle were involved. The uninjured BMW driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
