San Jacinto, CA (July 18, 2024) A motorcyclist was tragically killed this morning and another driver was injured.
At about 7:40 a.m., a crash occurred between a motorcycle and a sedan at East Seventh Street and Hewitt Street.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics were dispatched to the scene, but they arrived to find the motorcyclist deceased. Jose Cornejo Casas, 25, had been ejected from his bike and onto the road.
The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries but declined to be taken to the hospital.
The crash is still under investigation as of the latest report.
