San Diego, CA (March 27, 2024) A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries on Wednesday morning on Interstate 15 in San Diego. The early morning collision occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. not too far from Aero Drive in the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15 Freeway, according to officers.
The motorcyclist was heading down the interstate at the same time as a Mazda, according to initial reports. For reasons still unknown, the Mazda and motorcycle collided. The impact from the collision threw the rider from the motorcycle. The rider landed, hard, in the middle of the interstate lanes. The motorcycle sustained a lot of damage and slid on its side until it finally came to a stop. The driver of the Mazda remained at the scene following the accident.
