Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In San Juan Collision

Motorcyclist killed in collision with truck on Old Redwood Highway in Sonoma County.

San Juan, NV (September 4, 2024) A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, in San Juan, Nevada. The collision occurred at the intersection of Oak Tree Road and Tyler Foote Road, right around 4:00 p.m., not too far from Nevada City.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, a motorcycle collided with another vehicle at a San Juan intersection. The collision threw the rider from the motorcycle, causing them to land hard on the ground, before rolling and coming to a stop. The drier of the other vehicle remained at the scene following the accident.

Officers arrived and found the rider on the ground with serious injuries. Paramedics loaded the victim into an ambulance and transported them to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. The extend and severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries have not been disclosed. Officers took statements at the scene and gathered evidence as they work to determine what exactly happened to cause this collision, as well as who was at fault.
