San Diego, CA (February 20, 2024) – A motorcycle rider sustained multiple fractures in a collision with a truck in Hillcrest earlier today. The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of 3800 Sixth Ave, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The collision involved a 2018 Ford F-150 truck driven by a 31-year-old man traveling north on Sixth Avenue and a motorcycle traveling south. According to police reports, the truck attempted to turn left into a parking garage but failed to yield to the oncoming motorcycle, resulting in the collision.
Paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene and transported the 44-year-old motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries.
