Orange County, CA (August 20, 2024) A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with another vehicle on Friday afternoon, in Orange County. Officers reported that the motorcycle collided with a sedan in the HOV lane of State Route 91, right around 12:30 p.m.
It was just after 12:30 p.m. as a blue Suzuki motorcycle headed along State Route 91 in Anaheim on August 16th. For reasons that remain unknown, the motorcycle collided with a gray Infiniti sedan The motorcyclist went down on the highway and some good Samaritans in the area hurried to help them, according to reports.
Authorities arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist on the ground, with serious injuries, surrounded by good Samaritans. The woman driving the Infiniti was sitting inside her car. Officers reported that the good Samaritans had indicated her. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital to receive medical treatment, but the extent of the victim’s injuries remain unknown.
Officers issued a SigAlert at 1:00 p.m. and closed the HOV lane for approximately 30 minutes as they cleaned up the scene following their investigation. A tow truck had to be called to remove the motorcycle from the scene and crews had to pick up debris that was left on the roadway. Officers continue to work this case and are determined to better understand what happened to cause the accident in the first place. They also want to figure out who was at fault for this Orange County accident on State Route 91.
