Perris, CA (July 8, 2024) A man on a motorcycle was struck and killed in a tragic crash on Friday, July 5, at about 4:06 p.m.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Redlands Avenue and Ramona Expressway. Reports state that the 46-year-old motorcyclist, who has been identified as Samuel Alvarado of Perris, was heading south on Redlands.
A driver of a Nissan sedan was driving west on Ramona when the collision happened. Why exactly the two vehicles collided is unclear at this time.
When authorities and paramedics arrived at the scene, they attempted life-saving measures on the badly injured Alvarado. Sadly, they were unsuccessful and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Reportedly, we do not yet know if the Nissan driver sustained any injuries in this frightening crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
