San Diego: Jeep and Motorcycle Crash Causes Injury

Motorcyclist injured in two-vehicle collision in Sacramento County.

San Diego, CA (July 22, 2024) A frightening collision took place on Sunday, July 21 in Pacific Beach.

At about 8:33 p.m., a man riding a motorcycle eastbound on 1700 Grand Avenue entered the bicycle lane to pass stopped traffic on Kendal Avenue.

The man, who was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle, was suddenly broadsided by a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. A man in his thirties was driving the Jeep westbound at 1800 Grand Avenue and was attempting a southbound turn onto Kendal when the collision happened.

The motorcyclist suffered injuries including an open fracture of both the left shin bone and the calf bone.

San Diego Police Department is still investigating this accident. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
