The collision occurred on the South King Road on-ramp to southbound Interstate 680 Freeway. The motorcycle collided with another vehicle right around 1:47 p.m., officers reported.
It was a September afternoon in San Jose as a black Harley Davidson motorcycle headed along the South King Road on-ramp. Suddenly, another vehicle collided with motorcycle, according to authorities. The rider was knocked from the motorcycle, landing hard on the roadway. The driver of the other vehicle stopped and waited for police officers to arrive at the scene. They arrived to find the rider with serious injuries, lying on the roadway. Paramedics transported the rider to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention. The driver of the other vehicle was not injuries in this collision, officers reported.

Following the initial investigation, a tow truck arrive and removed the Harley Davidson motorcycle, which was now a bent heap of metal and rubber. Officers are working to determine what caused this accident, as well as who was at fault. They have reported that this investigation is ongoing.
