Santa Ana, CA (October 26, 2024) A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with another vehicle on the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana. It was just before 10:00 a.m. on October 25th, 2024, when the two collided near the southbound 405 Freeway.
Initial reports indicated that a blue sedan was driving on the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana, when it suddenly collided with a motorcycle in the middle lanes. The motorcyclist went down in the middle of the freeway, with obvious injuries. A good Samaritan who witnessed the collision stopped and got out to help the motorcyclist. Thankfully, the motorcyclist was able to get up and move off the freeway. The good Samaritan quickly jumped into action and moved the motorcycle from the roadway as well.

When emergency crews arrived, they found the motorcycle and the rider had already been moved from harm’s way. They made their way to the rider and found that while he was injured, his injuries were not life-threatening. Paramedics transported the rider to a local hospital to receive treatment.
