Las Vegas, NV (September 27, 2024) A collision in southwest Las Vegas left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries on Thursday afternoon, September 26th, 2024. The collision occurred at a private driveway at the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Durango Drive, right around 1:13 p.m.
It was a September afternoon in southwest Las Vegas as a motorcyclist headed south on Durango Drive. An Infinity was headed north on the same road, officers reported, and suddenly made a left turn into the driveway of a private residence. The vehicle turned right in the path of the motorcyclist, which hit the right side of the vehicle. The impact caused the Infinity to spin and it came to a stop in the middle of the roadway. The motorcyclist was thrown and came down with a hard landing on the roadway, officers reported.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department quickly arrived at the scene and found the rider on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics rushed the rider to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for critical injuries. The driver of the Infinity did not appear to be injured, according to reports.
