Austin, TX (November 30, 2023) 19-year-old Zachery Jonaitis was killed while riding his motorcycle on Highway 71 in Austin near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m., according to police officers.

It happened in the 1900 block of East Highway 71, eastbound when Jonaitis’s motorcycle collided with a car. Police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene and found Jonaitis lying in the roadway, his motorcyclist seriously damaged. Sadly, Zachery Jonaitis was killed in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police officers following the collision. The driver and the passenger in the vehicle were uninjured in this fatal crash.
