Valley Center, CA (November 12, 2024) A devastating accident in Valley Center claimed the life of a toddler on Monday, November 4th, 2024. 1-year-old Adriel Estevan Garcia was struck and killed by a vehicle in his neighborhood right around 8:30 a.m. It all happened on the Rincon Reservation in the 100 block of Morningstar Road.
The toddler managed to exit his home without his mother noticing. Shortly after, the family noticed he was missing and began looking for him, but could not find him in the house. Sadly, they found him lying in the street. The driver of the vehicle that had stuck Adriel Estevan Garcia fled the scene, officers reported.
Paramedics rushed the toddler to a hospital but, sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Officers are not determined to find the vehicle that struck this toddler and bring the driver to justice for this horrible collision.
