Riverside, CA (February 4, 2024) Two teenagers were crossing a street near their high school in Riverside, when they were hit by an SUV, authorities said. The accident occurred across the street from Ramona High School on Friday morning, February 2nd.
It was right around 8:13 a.m. as two high school students were crossing Magnolia Avenue in a designated crosswalk, heading to school, just as they did so many times before. As the teens crossed, a Hyundai SUV, driven by a male, drove through the crosswalk and struck the two high school students.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene with police officers and found the two boys with non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to a local hospital, along with the driver of the SUV, to receive medical treatment.
Officers do not know, at this time, if drugs or alcohol were factors in this collision. Investigators have questioned people and looked for evidence at the scene to determine why this pedestrian accident occurred.
