San Pablo, CA (September 6, 2024) – On Monday, September 2, a 24-year-old San Pablo resident was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after causing a crash that seriously injured at least three pedestrians. One of the pedestrians was a 6-year-old child.
The crash occurred at about 10:15 p.m. in the 14200 block of San Pablo Avenue. Reportedly, a gray BMW was speeding southbound when it collided with another vehicle. It then ran over a curb and hit three pedestrians who were on the sidewalk.
The pedestrians were found by officers and paramedics and deemed to have major injuries. They were rushed to the hospital and are reportedly in stable condition.
