HOLLYWOOD, CA (SEPTEMBER 18, 2023): The hit-and-run motorist responsible for a fatal pedestrian accident in Hollywood on Sunday has been arrested today.
A man was struck by a vehicle at around 10 p.m. while crossing Highland Avenue near Fountain Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He died at the scene.

The motorist then fled the scene, but was arrested shortly after the crash.
The identity of the victim nor the arrested has been released. Los Angeles authorities continue to investigate the cause of this fatal Hollywood pedestrian hit-and-run.
