Carlos Ceron Killed In Long Beach Crash On Pacific Coast Highway

1 killed in 2-vehicle pedestrian crash in Long Beach

Long Beach, CA (November 17, 2023) 50-year-old Carlos Ceron was killed in a two vehicle collision on Monday, November 13th, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The fatal accident occurred around 5:50 p.m. on the Pacific Coast Highway near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Officers arrived at the scene to find that two vehicles had collided and hit a pedestrian during the crash. Paramedics were ready to use life-saving measures on the pedestrian, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the pedestrian as 50-year-old Carlos Ceron, of Long Beach.

The drivers involved in the collision were also injured. One was treated for minor injuries at the scene and the other was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Officers said that two other drivers in the area reported some minor damage to their vehicles that happened during the collision. It was not reported as to whether or not they sustained any injuries in this collision.

Long Beach Officials are investigating the accident to try and determine what caused it and who was at fault for this fatal Pacific Coast Highway collision in Long Beach.
