Oroville, CA (August 19,2023) A female pedestrian was hit by a pickup on Thursday night in Oroville. The Oroville California Highway Patrol Office said that collision happened around 10:38 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred near the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Ophir Road. The female pedestrian was walking near the west edge of Lincoln Boulevard, near Ophir Road. At the same time, a pickup was driving down Lincoln Boulevard and hit the pedestrian, injuring her.
The pickup fled the scene, but California Highway Patrol said they are looking for it. It was a light-colored pickup truck, either a Chevy or a GMC.
