Long Beach, CA (September 10, 2024) A woman was struck by a vehicle in Long Beach on Wednesday, September 4, and she tragically passed away three days later.
It happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Santa Fe Ave. and West 23rd St. Firefighters rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries.
Reports state that the woman, whose name is being withheld for the time being, was walking in a marked crosswalk when a driver made a left turn and hit her. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
