A teenager was walking on South Lammers Road in Tracy on Thursday afternoon, when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle. The Kimball High School student, described as male, was knocked to the ground and sustained serious injuries in the accident. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and waited for authorities to arrive.
Upon arrival, officers with the Tracy Police Department found the teenager on the ground. He was alive, but seriously injured, reports indicated. An ambulance was called to the scene and the high school student was rushed to a local hospital to receive emergency treatment.
