Hesperia, CA (February 26, 2024) The town of Hesperia was shocked after learning that a pedestrian was hit by multiple vehicles on Saturday morning. 34-year-old Jaime E. Munguia, from Palm Springs, was reportedly struck by multiple vehicles on Main Street, officers said. The terrible incident took place right around 1:30 a.m. between Pyrite Avenue and Escondido Avenue.

It was the middle of the night as Munguia moved along Main Street on foot, not far from Interstate 15, officers said. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez reported that Munguia was hit by more than one vehicle and they believe that at least one of the vehicles fled the scene following the collision.
