Johnson Ngo, 39, Killed While Walking In Loma Linda

Loma Linda, CA (September 26, 2024) Tragedy struck the community of Loma Linda on Friday, September 20th, 2024. 39-year-old Redlands resident, Johnson Ngo, was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking on Barton Road. It all happened near Campus Avenue around 5:30 in the morning, reports indicated.

Initial reports indicated that Ngo was walking along Barton Road when a vehicle suddenly approached, striking him. The impact sent the 29-year-old pedestrian several feet before he landed on the ground. The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped and waited for police officers to arrive, following the accident.

The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department quickly arrived at the scene and found the man on the ground with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics placed him in an ambulance and rushed him to Loma Linda University Medical Center to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he died from his injuries while at the hospital. Authorities pronounced him dead one minute before 6:00 a.m., according to reports.

The investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing as detectives work to determine what exactly happened. The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department – Central Station is heading this investigation.
