Anaheim, CA (January 24, 2024) 75-year-old Judith Stanford was tragically struck and killed in an Anaheim intersection on January 5th, according to the Anaheim Police Department. At approximately 5:00 p.m., a vehicle struck Stanford on S. Harbor Boulevard, near Disneyland, and then quickly fled the scene. This same vehicle had struck and injured 3 other pedestrians before hitting Judith Stanford, authorities said.
Stanford had been walking on the 1800 block of S. Harbor Boulevard when she was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Convention Way. Stanford sustained life-threatening injuries when she was struck. The vehicle drove away, leaving her alone and suffering in the middle of the roadway.
The Anaheim Police Department arrived at the scene to find Stanford seriously injured. Paramedics did all they could to save Stanford’s life as they rushed her to a local hospital. Sadly, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Almost two weeks after this deadly hit-and-run, investigators identified the vehicle at fault, as well as the driver. On January 17th, Kien Do, 54, was taken into custody and faced several charges, including vehicular manslaughter.
