Westminster, CA (January 24, 2024) A walk in Westminster turned deadly for a 62-year-old man when he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, January 23rd. The fatal accident took place shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Beach Boulevard, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The man was walking in the 14600 block of Beach Boulevard on a dark January morning when the deadly accident happened. The vehicle never stopped, but instead, continued driving until it was gone, leaving the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the middle of the northbound No. 2 lane on Beach Boulevard. Paramedics hurried to give medical aid to the injured pedestrian, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers reported that the man’s injuries revealed that he had been struck by a vehicle. A news release stated that witnesses confirmed that the man had been hit and the driver left the scene. Investigators searched for evidence at the scene and are determined to find the vehicle that took the life of this pedestrian.
