Crystal Rosenberger Fatally Injured On Lincoln Boulevard In Santa Monica

Pedestrian struck and killed in Santa Ana hit-and-run.

Santa Monica, CA (January 23, 2024) Crystal Rosenberger, 47, was fatally injured by a vehicle while pushing a cart on Lincoln Boulevard in Santa Monica. The Santa Monica Police Department said this deadly pedestrian accident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20th.

Rosenberger was walking while pushing a cart on the 2900 block of Lincoln Boulevard when she was fatally hit by a vehicle. The driver, who was heading south on Lincoln Boulevard at the time of this accident, stopped the vehicle and waited for police officers to arrive at the scene. Rosenberger lay on the ground, motionless, in the darkness as the driver waited.

Upon arrival, officers found Rosenberger lying in the No. 1 lane of Lincoln Boulevard, according to the Santa Monica Daily Press. She had sustained life-threatening injuries and paramedics could not save her. Sadly, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene and the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner later identified the victim as Crystal Rosenberger.

Authorities conducted an investigation following this fatal accident on Lincoln Boulevard. They reported that the driver, while shaken, was cooperative with the investigation. The Santa Monica Police Department is asking for anyone who may have information regarding this awful accident to contact Investigator Evan Raleigh.
