Justin Allen Fatally Struck By Vehicle On Mission Trail In Lake Elsinore

Pedestrian struck and killed by multiple vehicles on the 14 Freeway in Lancaster.

Lake Elsinore, CA (February 5, 2024) It was a February night, just before midnight, when Justin Allen of Lake Elsinore tragically lost his life. The 39-year-old pedestrian was walking on Mission Trail when he was suddenly struck and killed by a vehicle. Officers reported that the devastating accident occurred a mere 500 feet south of Hidden Trail.

Justin Allen was found lying in the roadway following the horrible accident. Cal Fire, along with deputies from the Sheriff’s Department, arrived at the scene only to find Allen motionless in the middle of the road. Paramedics were ready to give medical care, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do. At approximately 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, February 4th, Justin Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Allen remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies, according to authorities. Officers do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in this deadly accident. They are currently investigating this collision to determine what exactly happened on Mission Trail Road that night.
