San Diego, CA (August 13, 2024) On August 1, tragedy struck in Logan Heights.
Lachana Camfield, a mother and grandmother of 49, was walking near National Avenue. As she was crossing the street, a driver in a truck struck her and fled the scene.
Police later located the driver, but as of August 10, Camfield’s family is eagerly waiting for them to make an arrest. It’s unclear why they haven’t done so yet.
