Azusa, CA (January 22, 2024) 61-year-old John Sigala was killed in a hit-and-run collision while crossing Irwindale Avenue in Azusa, according to police officers. The deadly accident took place just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Irwindale Avenue and Roosevelt Street on Friday, January 19th.
Sigala, an Avondale, Arizona resident, was struck while attempting to cross the street in Azusa, authorities said. The vehicle that struck him fled the scene, leaving the man lying in the road with life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics and police officers hurried to the scene and found the Sigala lying in the middle of the roadway. Paramedics rushed to give life-saving measures but they had to pronounce him dead at the scene.
