Laguna Beach, CA (September 5, 2024) A 33-year-old pedestrian was tragically killed in Laguna Beach this morning. Police say he was walking outside of a crosswalk to enter a shelter for transient folks when the collision occurred.
The fatal collision took place at about 5 a.m. in the 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Road, south of the 73 toll road and east of Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
The victim, whose name is being withheld at the time of writing, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
No other information has been reported about the driver who hit the victim.
