FRESNO, CA (AUGUST 27, 2023): A man is in critical condition after being struck by a teen driver at in intersection Fresno Saturday evening.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officials responded to a call around 5:30 p.m. on First Street and Bullard Avenue reporting that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian. Upon their arrival, they discovered a man in his 70’s lying out in the roadway.

Authorities discovered that a teen driving westbound on Bullard Avenue was making a turn onto First street when it struck the male pedestrian at the intersection. The man, believed to be unhoused, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities report that the teen was not under the influence and had obtained a permit. They continue to determine fault in this collision in Fresno that injured a male pedestrian.
