Los Angeles, CA (October 22, 2024) A teenager was tragically killed on the 110 Freeway in South Los Angeles on Oct. 20.
The details about the crash are unclear. Officials issued a SigAlert at 4:42 a.m. on Sunday after the collision happened around 3:50 a.m. They closed the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes for around two hours as they investigated the scene.
The pedestrian victim, 17-year-old Nathan Garcia, was struck and killed by a vehicle. Paramedics tragically pronounced him dead at the scene.
