Pedestrian, 47, Killed In Vegas DUI On MLK Blvd.

Pedestrian struck and killed by hit-and-run driver on Old Highway 18 in Apple Valley.

Las Vegas, NV (July 17, 2024)

A pedestrian was sadly left deceased early in the morning on Tuesday, July 16. The crash happened in North Las Vegas a little after midnight at the June Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard intersection.

North Las Vegas police report that a man in a Ford Fusion struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross MLK Blvd. outside of a crosswalk.

Paramedics rushed the pedestrian, a 47-year-old man, to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene, but he was arrested for charges of DUI resulting in death, possession of a controlled substance, and driving without a driver’s license.
