For reasons that remain unknown, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking through the community of Summerlin on Tuesday evening, October 22nd. The victim was struck while walking near Interstate 215 on Charleston Boulevard. The driver immediately stopped and waited at the scene for authorities to arrive.
Officers found the victim on the ground with life-threatening injuries. They were rushed to a hospital in the area to receive medical care. The emergency medical staff did everything within their power, but sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries. They were pronounced dead at the hospital by authorities.
