Newhall, CA (August 30, 2023) A pedestrian was struck by a car and injured on Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The accident occurred around 5:06 p.m.

Sgt. Bernard Peters, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said the station received reports of a collision involving a pedestrian. It happened on Pine Street in Newhall, Peters confirmed. He said that all available units were on the scene after receiving the call.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries they sustained during this collision. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said this accident is still under investigation. It does not appear to be a hit-and-run.
