Arden Arcade, CA (February 1, 2024) A walk ended badly for one pedestrian after they were struck and injured in a hit-and-run accident in Arden Arcade. The pedestrian was struck just before 2:00 p.m. and then left alone with injuries as the driver fled the scene, authorities said.

It was the afternoon of February 1st when a pedestrian was heading down Arden Way. As they reached 2100 Arden Way, a white pickup truck was driving towards them. For reasons unknown, the pickup hit the pedestrian between Howe Avenue and Ethan Way. Instead of stopping to call for help or even to check on the pedestrian, the driver of the pickup drove away.

Officers arrived at 2100 Arden Way to find the pedestrian on the ground, alone and injured. It was obvious the victim had been hit by a vehicle, according to police officers. Paramedics at the scene assisted the pedestrian before transporting them to a local hospital to receive further treatment for their injuries.
