El Dorado Hills, CA (September 13, 2023) A pedestrian was injured on Wednesday morning when they were struck by a vehicle in front of Oakridge High School in El Dorado Hills. The pedestrian was hit around 8:04 a.m. at 1120 Harvard Way, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials reported that the accident occurred near a crosswalk and the upper parking lot of the high school. A school resource officer was on the scene and called for paramedics. It has not been disclosed if the pedestrian was a student at the high school or how severely they were injured.
The California Highway Patrol said they are currently trying to figure out what exactly happened leading up to this collision.
