Lake Balboa, CA (July 22, 2024) A tragic accident occurred in the Lake Balboa area early this morning.
The collision occurred at about 2:20 a.m. at 17231 Sherman Way. A homeless man was walking in the road when a vehicle suddenly struck him. He was reportedly about 30 years old.
Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers administrated sobriety tests to the driver of the vehicle that hit the man, but there have been no reports that any arrests were made. Details about the circumstances surrounding the crash are still unfolding.
