The incident occurred at approximately 4:57 p.m. on Sunday when a 32-year-old woman was driving northbound on Home Avenue in a 2020 Honda Pilot, nearing the intersection of Home Avenue and Gateway Drive, as detailed by SDPD Officer John Buttle.
Reports indicate that the pedestrian, who was walking eastbound across Home Avenue, stepped in front of the Honda, resulting in the collision.
