Witnesses reported seeing a red sedan parked on the right shoulder, followed by a male individual entering lanes 2 and 3, apparently attempting to interact with passing vehicles in an effort to get them to stop. Further investigation suggests that the pedestrian may have been attempting to repair a disabled vehicle when he was struck by another passing vehicle, as reported by KTLA5. The Orange County coroner’s office arrived at the scene at 12:42 a.m., marking the tragic conclusion of this heartbreaking incident.
