Turlock, CA (June 12, 2024) A man was struck and run over multiple times while walking in Stanislaus County on Highway 99. Police are still investigating the tragic incident.
California Highway Patrol reported that authorities found the victim on the east side of the on-ramp located on West Main Street. He was found early in the morning–before 5 a.m.–on Monday, June 3. He was run over by at least one car, but it’s unclear how many others were involved.
A witness reportedly told California Highway Patrol that she witnessed a car run over the victim when he was already lying on the ground. According to reports, nobody called the police about having struck or run over a man on the highway.

Sadly, the pedestrian was found dead at the scene when authorities arrived. They are still trying to investigate who struck him.
