Victor Siqueiros Struck, Killed In San Jose Collision On Story Road

Pedestrian killed in Las Vegas hit-and-run.

San Jose, CA (February 23, 2024) 89-year-old Victor Siqueiros was hit by a vehicle on February 10th and remained in the hospital for nearly two weeks, fighting for his life. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital on Tuesday, February 20th.

On February 10th, Siqueiros was crossing the road within a designated crosswalk on Story Road. As he crossed, a 2015 Honda Civic was driving east on Story Road and continued through the intersection on a green light, authorities reported. The vehicle struck Siqueiros in the crosswalk at approximately 12:15 p.m., knocking the pedestrian on the ground.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found Siqueiros lying in the intersection. Paramedics rushed to give him life-saving treatments and then, carefully, loaded him into the ambulance. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, officers said. He held on, with the help of the medical team at the hospital, until Tuesday, February 20th, when he passed away at the hospital.

The driver of the Honda stayed at the San Jose intersection and cooperated with police officers during their investigation. They are working to determine what caused this fatal collision on Story Road.
