Placer County, CA (September 13, 2024) A 73-year-old pedestrian from Orangevvale was tragically killed on Thursday, September 12 when a vehicle struck her.
California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred at about 8:15 p.m. north of Auburn on Edgewood Road. The circumstances around the crash are unclear, but officers determined that a Ford van had struck the woman.
Paramedics rushed her to the hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
