Oakdale, CA (September 12, 2023) A woman was hit by a vehicle and killed on Monday night while walking in Oakdale. The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 9:00 p.m.
Emergency personnel arrived at Highway 108 east of Odessa Way in Oakdale. There, they found a female laying in the two-way left turn lane between eastbound and westbound lanes.

A Cadillac was stopped in the number 1 lane of eastbound Highway 108. Investigators with the California Highway Patrol said the pedestrian was crossing the street from south to north when she was struck by the Cadillac. The Cadillac was traveling east in the number 1 lane at the time of the accident.
This accident is still being investigated and it is still unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were involved.
