San Jacinto, CA (October 30, 2024) On Sunday, Oct. 27, a woman was critically injured when an SUV struck her and fled the scene shortly after 8 a.m.
The woman, a resident of San Jacinto, was crossing Meridian Street when a dark SUV struck her and fled. Multiple good Samaritans rushed to help her as they waited for emergency services to arrive.
Paramedics rushed the woman to a trauma center in critical condition. As of Wednesday, she remains in intensive care. Her identity has not been released.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run motorist. They ask anyone with information to call the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station.
